The
Facilities

Renowned
for exceptional service and hospitality King & Bartlett
was chosen by Orvis as runner up Lodge of the
Year in 2000.
The
Main Lodge with its beautiful stone fireplace is a perfect
spot to socialize or sit quietly and enjoy a good book or a spectacular
sunrise. The view of King and Bartlett Lake is breathtaking and
it is not uncommon to watch someone catch a trout right off the
dock. For current weather conditions go to
www.eustismaine.com.
The
Docks provide mooring for 10 Jon boats each with Honda motor.
All other bodies of water are also equipped with appropriate
watercraft. Boats, motors, fuel, and safety equipment
are all inclusive.
The
Dining Room
Our chef prepares 3 outstanding meals per day.
Guests choose one of two entrées each
evening. Offerings include fresh seafood, roast duck, pork
tenderloin, a variety
of chicken dishes, pasta to name a few. Fresh
bread, cookies and pastries are baked daily. Special dietary
needs may be arranged in advance and box lunches are available
for those who wish to stay in the field for the day.
The
Cabins
Original log cabins, which stand alone along the
shore of King and Bartlett Lake, have been modernized to provide
all the comforts of home in a wilderness setting. Accommodating
2-6 people, each cabin has a bath with hot and cold running water,
clean and easy to operate gas heaters, and porches with rocking
chairs so you can relax while overlooking the lake. Daily maid
service will enhance your carefree stay with us.
The
Pro Shop
Our small Orvis pro shop is stocked with our most
commonly used flies, terminal tackle, the latest rods and reels,
and a limited line of clothing. Hunting and fishing licenses
are available for residents and non-residents alike. In order
to purchase a Maine hunting license you must show proof of completion
of a hunter safety course or a previous adult hunting license
issued after 1976. Licenses are also available on line at
http://www.state.me.us/ifw/.
The
Conference Room can be set up to accommodate working groups
of up to 25 participants.
